Treatment - an efficient and simple process
- Hair transplantation is done under local anesthesia as a simple outpatient procedure. Patients are often awake and relaxed because of a mild sedative taken orally.
- There is very little discomfort during the procedure, making the process ideal for patients concerned with the pain of surgery.
- The procedure is generally completed within 4 to 6 hours and you can typically return to work the following day. There are no drugs, and follow-up treatment is not needed after the procedure. The cost is normally only a one-time expense.
Virtually painless
Most patients do not feel any pain. Some may experience discomfort, which can be relieved by oral medication. Most patients do not need special medication at all, before or even after treatment.
No visible scarring
The area from which the hair follicles have been removed is hidden by the permanent hair surrounding it. In areas where grafts have been inserted, there is some crusting for a short period (1-2 weeks), but this usually resolved within 2 months and becomes undetectable.
